As part of the British Columbia 150th celebrations, the University of Victoria‘s Maltwood Art Museum and Gallery and Emily Carr House are exploring the parallels and connections between Emily, her British born parents, Richard and Emily Saunders Carr, and John and Katherine Maltwood (also British) in an exhibition at Emily Carr House, 207 Government Street, May 1st- September 30th. In addition, selected artifacts are on display at the Maltwood Art Gallery in the University Centre Building, UVic Campus, which are representative of this exhibition.
